Onekawa Pools Reflection

I had a HUGE feeling was speeding down the splash and dash tube, I felt like I was in slow motion going down the tube of light. I screamed as I went down. “WEEEEEEEE!”

As I was going down the tube, I felt like I was going at the speed of light! I keep screaming “WEEEE!” and “WOOO!”

I was getting to the end, I was hearing heavy water splashes going around. Then, I felt a massive splash go across my face. I was right at the bottom! I never knew it was so short!

When I got out, I was ready to go again! “I AM SO DETERMINED!” I got out of the fast slide exit and waited in the line ready for the next round!

Our task was to summarise a paragraph from a Polar Bear article. I decided to do an article on Polar Bears and them being in their dens and how Polar Bears operate them. We also had to share what we learnt via Learn Create And Share. So that's I did with my google slide.

We had a task to make an artpiece that looks like our arms and legs are coming straight forwards to us like their doing a staple into the pool. I think my final piece looks really good and really majestic, check it out for yourself and be amazed by my amazing artwork!

Adding Humor

We had a task where we had to take a camp photo of yourself and another person and making speech bubbles to make it look like people in the photo are talking about something that is going on in the photo.

Thank You Letter

To Mr Lowe

Hello Mr Lowe. Thank you for being with us on Kauri 1211’s trip to Camp Omatua. I can tell everyone had a blast! Below is my highlight and my poem for you. Enjoy!

I enjoyed making our Drive-In-Movie Cars. If you are from the audience. Then this the rundown. Our task was to make a car for our Drive-In-Movie. But something was unique from mine from Everyone else. And that something else… Was an airplane! Yes I know, I know.

But… I have to summarise this up because I was TOLD to… So we had to make our model, paint it, and tape it up if we need to. Since I don’t want to make this 300 words. I'll just explain the last part. We watch the movie, Home Alone 2 - Lost In New York. It was an awesome movie to watch with our “part” of the hub. Then we to bed ready for the pools on day 3. It was soooo (and so on)oooo cool to make our cars! I hope we can do it again sometime! So time for the poem!

K - Knowing your a supportive person.

S - Supportive people are cool. Just - like - you.

E - Enjoyment is the Number 1 thing.
